Jon Haywood is a Nikon Professional Services accredited photographer based in Amsterdam but travelling all around the world to capture positive human experiences.

Photography has always been a core part of the DNA that makes up my world. From the age of 11 I held my first camera, a Lubitol 2 and from then on it has been a roller coaster journey around the world (London, Dubai, New York, Vancouver & Amsterdam), capturing the world as seen through my eyes.

It was in Amsterdam that I embarked on my current project to document the creative and performance diversity of drag around the world - “Life’s a Drag”. Through this visual platform, I really want to raise awareness and put the spotlight on the drag community to reveal the value it gives back to the LGBTQ+ (and wider) community in our cities.
